Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is pleased to announce the opening of the Physical Therapy division at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has now opened physical therapy services at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.

Conceived by Dr. Marc Pietropaoli, M.D., President of Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and Medical Director of Rehabilitative Services, this opening represents a single component of the overall objective to deliver a "one-stop" practice for the sports medicine & orthopedic patient. Each patient has an opportunity to choose where they receive therapy services. For Dr. Pietropaoli, however, he has witnessed via his Fellowship training at the American Sports Medicine Institute in Birmingham, Alabama and in his own orthopedic practice the desire of patients to seek therapy where they are assured communication is continuous between the orthopedic team and the patient.

We believe you will find our therapy staff to be excellent clinicians with a sharp focus on delivering high quality customer service. Our staff utilizes treatment protocols that are time-tested and based on the therapy approach used by Dr. James Andrews and Kevin Wilk, PT, DPT (pioneers of orthopedic sports medicine and rehabilitation service delivery). These protocols are integrated within the electronic medical record that is used for all patients seen at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. This further enhances the quality of care as the full team approach is utilized to manage and communicate amongst the care providers (Dr. Pietropaoli, Steve Berwind, MSN, NP-C and Michelle Fassinger, RPA-C as well as the physical therapy staff).

The new space features high-end therapeutic equipment necessary for delivering the best of clinical care. Some examples include combined ultrasound electronic stimulation equipment, ergonomically correct/adjustable hi-lo treatment tables, and assorted exercise equipment from treadmill and simulated stairs to upper and lower extremity exercise machines.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, founded by Marc P. Pietropaoli, MD, has been providing high caliber clinical care with outstanding customer service since 1999. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is proud to expand our services to meet the high level clinical expectations that patients desperately seek in today's healthcare environment.

Victory Sports Medicine and Orthopedics is now a Certified Sportsmetrics Clinical Site!January, 2009:
Victory Sports Medicine and Orthopedics (VSM) became a Certified Sportsmetrics Clinical Site in January, 2009. The Cincinnati Sports Medicine Research and Education Foundation came to Skaneateles to train fifteen members of the clinical staff, making VSM one of the few certified clinical sites in Central New York.

Sportsmetrics is a world-wide, scientifically-proven, training program that reduces serious knee ligament injuries in young athletes; primarily those in middle and high school. The six week prevention program helps athletes refine neuromuscular control of their lower limbs thereby reducing the amount of serious injuries, particularly ACL (anterior cruciate ligament) injuries. Through proper jumping techniques, strengthening, and agility drills, the athlete will be able to utilize proper muscle recruitment, land with less valgus (knock- kneed) stresses, and decelerate properly which will decrease injury rates.

This six week program can also be implemented following an ACL injury that required surgical intervention. After clearance from the surgeon (6 months to 1 year post-operatively), an athlete can perform the program (Return To Play Program) on their own under the supervision of a Certified Sportsmetrics Trainer. The individual would be seen in the office four different times and provided with a pre and post test as well as instructions of how to implement each phase of the program. This Return To Play program would be an adjunct to the patient’s formal physical therapy and is not designed to replace the physical therapy following an ACL surgery.

Prevention, maintenance and education regarding an injury are integral aspects of our care. Having a large number of Certified Sportsmetrics Trainers allows us the opportunity to work with local high schools and community programs to help instill proper training techniques and hopefully decrease the incidence of knee injuries.

We are willing to implement Sportsmetrics programs into your community, schools or local organized teams. The return to play program is also provided for those that qualify.

Please contact Erin Johnson, MS, ATC at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics to learn more about the exciting programs we offer to get you back in the game! She may be reached at 315-685-7544.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has acquired a state–of–the-art digital x-ray systemJune, 2008:
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has acquired a state–of–the-art digital x-ray system and electronic picture archiving system (PACS). Gone are the days of having the x-ray technician change out film cassettes after each x-ray is acquired. Now, images are acquired digitally and almost instantly routed into the archiving system where the technician then makes them available to the provider to review. The system Victory now uses is a Swissray DR 3000 unit in conjunction with Stryker PACS Office Power picture archiving system.

In a joint effort with Auburn Memorial Hospital, Victory Sports acquired the space from Urgent Medical Care of Skaneateles that previously housed an old traditional x-ray system. Previously, Victory patients had to go register at Urgent Care in order to have x-rays obtained. Now, it is seamless for any patient to have an x-ray and have the Victory Sports Medicine provider read and interpret the films almost simultaneously. Gone are the registration delays as well as the wait times necessary when using old traditional film equipment. No more need for patients to physically have to get their films from the Auburn Memorial Hospital file room when they have an appointment. The x-ray images are now stored on site in a secure backed up server. Patients can easily be given their images on a CD if/when they need them.

AMH Urgent Care patients can have their images acquired as well. Those images are sent immediately into the hospital PACS system where hospital-based radiologists can review the films. This is a great benefit for the physicians at Urgent Medical Care of Skaneateles.

Victory Sports has also implemented three viewing stations for it’s providers to interpret the images. It is not uncommon for provider and patient to gather around a 23” monitor to show the suspect injury or do some additional teaching about the anatomy in question.

Though the new system “looks like a rocket ship” according John B. Henry, Jr., Practice Administrator, it works in ways that a traditional system could never handle. It is fully automated so the technician can push a button to enter specific pre-programmed positions based on the needed study. The unit maneuvers in ways that minimize patient movement. More importantly, it minimizes patient discomfort / pain as it moves around the patient v. the patient having to constantly re-adjust. Henry worked with Dr. Pietropaoli and Kelly Hart, RT during the assessment, planning and installation phases of the unit. “Working with great individuals who have tremendous talents and expectations” made the project much smoother than what might otherwise have been the case, said Henry.

Victory Sports Medicine has since hired a second X-ray technician so the unit operates seven days per week to meet the needs of their Urgent Care neighbors and meet the demand of local area residents. Lead technologist Kelly Hart has 12 years of experience while Rochelle Sears is a new graduate. Both technologists are prime examples of employees demonstrating the “winning attitude and competency” that is so critical in today’s service oriented world. Our technologists bring experience as well as current, cutting edge training that includes the new optimal use of digital x-ray, says Henry.

Going forward, Victory Sports Medicine is working to utilize the full digital capacity of the image archiving system. Dr. Pietropaoli operates primarily at Harrison Center West in Camillus and Auburn Memorial Hospital. Soon they hope to be able to display the electronic images on a large screen display in the operating room from the PACS system via the internet v. individualized CD’s or jump drives.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics under the leadership of Dr. Marc Pietropaoli continues to deliver high-tech / high quality care in a sports oriented environment. Visit the winning team for your orthopedic injury needs!

December 6, 2008:
Dr. Marc Pietropaoli, President of Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, has announced two donations to two local agencies assisting those in need. Considering the season with the holidays “around the corner,” it has been a time of reflection and a time to step up and help others who are less fortunate.

Dr. Pietropaoli announced that he is giving his staff an extra day off on December 26th. In return, he is offering all staff salaries that would have been earned that day as a donation to the Auburn Memorial Hospital Foundation. The two thousand dollar donation is to be used on patients with no money or insurance to cover their health care needs. A second donation in the amount of two thousand dollars will also be given to the Community Soup Kitchen in Auburn to help feed the hungry. Dr. Pietropaoli and staff representatives will also spend time serving at the soup kitchen.

"We need to remember that there are others who are less fortunate. During times like we face now, it is even more important to step up and share and help others. During the Great Depression, the great companies still took good care of their staffs and still gave to those less fortunate" Pietropaoli said. The giving spirit is alive and well at Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics.

December 2008:
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics opened for business in April of 2001 at their current location “on the hilltop, behind Kwik-Fill, next to Urgent Medical Care of Skaneateles.” It seems after many years of assessing various options, Victory Sports Medicine & Orthoepdics may have a new location to call home.

Dr. Marc Pietropaoli is President and owner of Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. He has a purchase agreement for approximately 99 acres on the east side of Skaneateles along Route 20. Keep reading to learn about the quest for a new location to allow Victory Sports Medicine to expand while keeping the business here in Skaneateles.

Programming and phasing of proposed property: Phase I
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics current resides at 791 W. Genesee St. in Skaneateles, New York. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has expanded and tried over the years to expand within our current location up to and including attempting to purchase the building from the current owner. These plans included further expanding inside as well as an addition to the current building contingent on purchasing the building. The proposed expansion and addition to the building had been passed through both the village and town authorities; however, the current owner ultimately decided that he did not want to sell the building. Therefore, Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics continued its quest to find an appropriate sized building and property to perform and provide comprehensive "one stop shopping" orthopedic sports medicine care and injury prevention services that they feel they are best suited to provide and would provide the community with enhanced value.

Efforts were made to consider a purchase of the Old LAB building (Onondaga Street) in the past as well as the 16 acres of property adjacent to and west of the current Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics facility. There was also a purchase offer put together by Victor Ianno who was going to buy the bowling alley from then owner Gary Feldman. When Victor Ianno decided he did not want to sell his current building to Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics, he proposed the sale of Hilltop Restaurant/Cedar House Bowling Alley to Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics from Gary Feldman. It turns out the offer was accepted, but due to leases being in place that were initially not stated to be in place, the deal "fell through." Also, there were numerous articles and "bad press" regarding the potential deal specific to this site.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and Ramsgard Architectural Services worked extensively on researching and attempting to purchase the Mackes property at a sealed bid auction from the town and village of Skaneateles. However, they were slightly outbid by the only other bidder, Mr.Gary Dower, who owns Mirbeau and the Adirondack Lodge.

Since then there have been several other potential offers of land from "The Dealer" located across Route 20 from Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics current location, as well as various locations in the Town of Sennett and the City of Auburn in addition to the City of Syracuse. Ultimately, they were not amenable to the overall plan for Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. Of note, VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. was formed prior to consideration of purchasing the Bowling Alley as a separate property L.L.C. The current President and owner is Marc P. Pietropaoli.

The current proposed location is east of the village on E. Genesee St. in the town of Skaneateles, NY. This site was also considered for purchase several years ago. It was initially thought that since the majority of Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics patients come from Marcellus and westward (although patients come from areas as far away as Ithaca, Cortland, Binghamton, Oswego, Syracuse, Rome, Utica, Rochester, Buffalo and even Los Angeles!) with the majority of those patients coming from the Auburn and surrounding areas, that the location on the opposite side of the village of Skaneateles would not be desirable for those patients to travel to. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics performed a patient survey inquiring both about orthopedic and Physical Therapy services as well as radiology services which Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics currently offers. In general, the vast, vast majority of patients surveyed did not have any issue with traveling the extra 2 miles eastward to the current proposed location. Therefore, a purchase offer was made for the current property.

The current property was not officially surveyed; perk tested, nor was the topography totally delineated. VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. employed the expert services of EDR (Environmental Design & Research) who are experts in landscape architecture, community planning, surveying, environmental management, visual communication and civil engineering. (please refer to their website www.edrpc.com for further details as to their expertise in these matters) to evaluate and map the property.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics currently employs several medical providers: One orthopedic surgeon/Sports Medicine Specialist, Dr. Pietropaoli, as well as a Nurse Practitioner and a Physician Assistant. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Physical Therapy employs 2 full time Physical Therapists and 2 Physical Therapy Assistants.

In its current location, the space is significantly limited to try to expand and add any further medical providers though we know there is a definite need. A newer, larger facility would allow the recruitment of more physicians and increase services to the residents of Skaneateles and surrounding areas. This would include, but not be limited to a foot an ankle fellowship trained orthopedic surgeon, a fellowship trained orthopedic spine surgeon, a fellowship trained orthopedic total joint replacement surgeon, a non operative fellowship trained primary care sports medicine physician, a physiatrist/pain control expert in addition to other orthopedic/musculoskeletal specialists who would improve the services offered to patients in this area.

Currently Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Physical Therapy is only able to handle 25% of the total Physical Therapy referrals that get sent out from Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics. Most of the referrals being sent out actually support Cayuga County v. Onondaga county. This is due to a limitation in size which limits the ability to see patients and hire more staff. With a larger facility and staff the goal would be to refer as close to 100% of the referrals to Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics Physical Therapy as possible unless of course the patient seeks to have therapy services delivered elsewhere. The goal is to provide “one stop shopping” for the athlete or orthopedic patient in a comprehensive, team-approach manner to optimize patient care and ultimate outcome to “get back in the game.”

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has recently installed a State of the Art digital X-ray machine and has insurance approval, will seek building permit approval and is in the process of adding Open MRI services to the local community. The physical space is severely limited and Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has been employing a world leader in the design of medical facilities, MDI (Medical Design International) based in Atlanta, Georgia, whom they have worked with in the past. There have been preliminary favorable discussions between Auburn Memorial Hospital and Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics for the placement of the Urgent Care Center and other physician offices (up to and including primary care physicians and weight loss physicians/specialists/programs) in the proposed medical facility. This would be Phase l / the initial build out on the proposed property. There have also been very preliminary discussions with local medical facility administrations about consideration of a surgery center as well as other offices up to and including a brace/orthotic/prosthetic shop which would be a much-needed addition to the local community.

Upon close consultation with MDI as well as consultation with local medical facilities and discussions with Andy Ramsgard (who has been the local architect that has been working with Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics throughout all these processes up to and including this project), reveal that a 25,000 square foot footprint would be the necessary size. This would allow for the spatial needs of all of the above. It is understood that 3 floors would potentially be within compliance of the local laws and therefore the total building size could be 75,000 square feet. More than likely it would be at least 25,000 sq. ft. and if other local medical facilities are on board as stated, likely 50,000 square feet to start with. The potential remains to expand down the road to 75,000 square feet with first preference for that space given to Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and any related endeavors and AMH (or any other medical facility that has an interest in this project) and any related endeavors for them, prior to consideration of any other potential medical providers or uses.

With the amount of employees, there would also need to be sufficient "cafeteria/ restaurant/snack bar" space within the building. No other possible usages at this time would be proposed for that medical complex facility. More than likely, the vast majority would be related to medical services and/or food services provided for the staff employees, patients, and their families in addition to potentially athlete's families and relatives utilizing the proposed athletic fields, which are either considered Phase 1A or Phase 2.

ATHLETIC FIELDS: PHASE 2 (or 1A)
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has a significant interest in not only treating and taking care of sports injuries, but especially in injury prevention. This is an underserved and often overlooked area in sports medicine. There are many types of injuries that can be prevented by education, training programs, and athletic performance enhancement programs. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. are greatly committed to developing these types of programs currently and in the future. In the current location, there is not enough space or resources to adequately develop these programs to the potential that they have. A larger building and facility is one portion of the program, however, there is a need for larger spaces and open areas to facilitate these programs. Many of these programs need actual sports fields to demonstrate specific sports injury prevention techniques and Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics/VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. primary reason for sports fields is to help facilitate the injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement future portions of it's business.

Dr. Pietropaoli and Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics are intimately involved with several local high school sports programs providing sideline coverage for Friday night football games for both Auburn High School and Skaneateles High School. It has come to their attention that Skaneateles High School is in need of further athletic practice fields. There have already been several preliminary discussions with the superintendent, the CFO, the Athletic Director, the head football coach and the head athletic trainer in the Skaneateles school district for the consideration of building out athletic practice fields for the Skaneateles school district. There has been some preliminary discussions as to the desire of the Skaneateles School District to maintain these fields with their maintenance crew. Further discussion and negotiations are to follow.

Dr. Pietropaoli is also intimately involved with the local youth sports programs. He has been on the Auburn Indians Pop Warner board of directors for the past 10 years. He has extensive experience as a head or assistant coach with both indoor and outdoor soccer, basketball, softball, baseball, and football. It is well known in the local community but also it has been his experience as a youth coach that there is an acute need for more youth sports fields in the area. It is often times very difficult to get field time for certain sports and there have already been similar discussions with members of several of the youth sports organizations including Skaneateles Lakeshore Baseball, Northern Cayuga Little League Softball, Bill Delaney Basketball, as well as the new Youth Flag Football League which is looking to expand and will more than likely need youth practice fields in addition to playing fields.

It is also well known that the town and school district have had discussions with Grace Chapel with the potential end result being additional sports fields for the local community on current town property that would be accessed through Grace Chapel if all the appropriate negotiations succeed. Soccer, lacrosse and field hockey are other sports that have needs and it is the view of Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. that even with the proposed fields to be built on the Victory Enterprises potential property, especially in light of the up-coming Skaneateles youth football program that there will probably be an additional need for athletic fields which could be obviated by both the VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. property and the town property accessed through Grace Chapel if need be.

A unique feature in the plan for the VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. property centers around the athlete's safety on the field whether at practice or during games. Dr. Lemak, who is a world renowned sports medicine physician in Birmingham, Alabama, founded the National Center for Sports Safety of which Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is an affiliate member.

One of his most common and famous quotes is "We would never think of sending our children to a pool without a lifeguard. Why should we send them to a youth sports practice or game without adequately trained individuals at those events?"

VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. is planning on having a full time certified athletic trainer on call at all times for any injuries that may occur on the VSM Enterprises' Field. If the negotiations can be worked out and Auburn Memorial Hospital moves their Urgent Care Center into this facility, the ability to acutely take care of any type of athletic injury urgently and emergently up to and including athletic trainer evaluation, potential ER physician evaluation, potential orthopedic surgeon evaluation, potential radiologic/X-ray evaluation would all be possible at this facility.

VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. is not aware of any other facility in the area that is able to offer this type of service. In addition, the medical facility will need to have an area (either a large conference room and/or suitable size auditorium) where patient, medical provider, coaching, and community education/outreach program, can be taught. Dr. Pietropaoli currently teaches the National Center for Sports Safety P.R.E.P.A.R.E. course which teaches sports medicine first aid and emergency injury care which he has taught to local coaches and board members especially within the Auburn Indian Pop Warner organization every year. He has plans to offer that service and multiple other services to help improve the education, health, safety and welfare of our local athletes, especially local youth athletes.

INDOOR ATHLETIC PERFORMANCE FACILITY: PHASE 3
VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. is well aware that the town and village of Skaneateles are very fortunate to have a Rec Center. VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. is also aware that within a few miles of the proposed location there is already another indoor facility, the Ultimate Goal in Marcellus, New York. There are several reasons why VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. would need to have an indoor athletic facility to accomplish its mission of a "one-stop-shop" for sports medicine/orthopedics/ musculoskeletal care. As stated above, sports medicine is not only taking care of and rehabilitating injuries, but one of its often forgotten about and often neglected sides is the injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement side. Health care is becoming increasingly expensive and it has been found that it is much more cost effective to prevent injury or disease than it is to treat them after the fact.

Dr. Pietropaoli is convinced that in the long run the only way to truly reduce health care costs in this country is to invest strongly in disease and injury prevention. Musculoskeletal injuries are one of the most common problems that are taken care of by health care practitioners in this country. In order to teach and provide the appropriate injury prevention courses (see Cincinnatisportsmetrics.com) and athletic performance enhancement programs, an indoor facility is needed. The weather in Upstate New York precludes the need for an indoor facility.

The idea of the Phase 3 indoor athletic performance facility at the VSM Enterprises location is NOT to compete with any of the programs offered at the Recreation Center in Skaneateles. There are no plans at all for any ice/skating/swimming facilities in the VSM Enterprises Athletic Performance facility. The #1 need and use will be for injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement programs.

Having said that, it is also realized that there is definite need for more indoor basketball courts and facilities due to the fact that there is significantly limited gym time and availability for the Bill Delaney League in Skaneateles as well as just a lack of indoor basketball facilities for the general population in this area. It is also difficult to have any type of tournament similar to other local tournaments because there is no one centralized location that the tournament could be located at.

With the addition and start up of the Skaneateles Youth Football there is a potential void for indoor practice facility as the season wears on. There are several Pop Warner organizations that are able to utilize indoor facilities as their teams get further on into the playoffs later in the season when the hours of daylight decrease and the weather turns poor. Indoor football facilities for training programs, coaching clinics, injury prevention, etc. are all significantly under served in the central New York area. The same goes for indoor baseball and softball facilities. One of the best indoor softball facilities is in Central Square which is a long drive for the people of Cayuga and southwestern Onondaga counties.

In the past, athletes have had to drive to the 481 Indoor facility in Cicero, NY for indoor baseball training. Recently that has been moved to a facility in Camillus which is the site of an old Department Store. There is definite potential for utilization of an indoor facility for baseball and softball.

The Ultimate Goal in Marcellus, NY primarily focuses on indoor soccer; therefore VSM Enterprises Athletic Performance Facility will not have a goal to compete with indoor soccer at the Ultimate Goal. There is some indoor lacrosse at the Ultimate Goal. Given the amount of indoor soccer, it is felt that indoor lacrosse is still somewhat under served and there is potential for indoor lacrosse, particularly for females, in addition to the potential performance enhancement and injury prevention aspects for lacrosse that the VSM Enterprises Athletic Performance Facility would offer. The medical facility and Athletic Performance Facility would need to be connected by a "connecting wing" of the overall facility. This would be necessary for obvious Upstate New York weather related reasons and, more importantly to keep with the "one stop shopping" vision of this total facility. The Physical therapy department would be located on the Eastern wing of the medical building and it would only be a natural transition to expand the Physical Therapy department in to the connecting wing to transition into the indoor facility.

POTENTIAL PHASE 4
There are approximately 23 acres of wetlands/wetlands set back that are included in this nearly 99 acre piece of property. They will be preserved and actually offer very nice surrounding natural beauty and natural habitat for the local community to enjoy as well as the wildlife to continue to flourish in. The remaining portion of the property is mostly scrub brush and relatively "early" vegetation considering the fact that it used to be a farm and the fact that some of the topsoil was stripped off the land in the past which left it fairly poor quality.

The preservation of the green spaces/wetlands, VSM Enterprises feels will further enhance this project. It would also be desirable to have some low environmental impact nature trails through these areas for the local community to either utilize the trails for exercise, mental relaxation, wildlife watching and wildlife education.

IN SUMMARY
Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics in its current location does not have enough space to expand its business and services/offerings to the community to its fullest potential due to a lack of physical size and space. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics would not only like to move into a new facility, but expand its services into the much needed injury prevention and athletic performance enhancement market. In order to expand into injury prevention, education and athletic performance enhancement, Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is in need of both indoor and outdoor athletic fields and facilities.

In addition there is a well documented need by both the Skaneateles School district and the multiple local youth sports organizations for both practice and playing fields. If all the above are brought together, the facility at 0 E. Genesee St. in Skaneateles makes complete sense and would significantly benefit the town and village of Skaneateles as well as the local surrounding communities. It would make great use of and transform an otherwise barren and visually unappealing piece of property into a well utilized efficient but not overly taxed piece of property that takes advantage of the land that is able to be utilized but also preserves approximately 23 acres of natural wetlands/wild life habitat. It leaves the natural areas intact other than the proposed recreation/nature trails that would benefit both the sports loving and non sports loving community members.

This is a large project and would obviously need to be completed in phases. Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics has demonstrated over the last 5 years that it needs a new facility to expand into and has unfortunately failed to see this come to fruition due to the above outlined efforts and circumstances.

Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics and VSM Enterprises, L.L.C. now feel as though this is the ideal location to realize their goal and to add value to the local community. The #1 need for Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics is a new building. Therefore, the medical facility would be Phase 1. The infrastructures that would need to go along with that and for future use would also need to be incorporated during phase one, including storm water management/ septic / sanitary management/ grading and adequate roads/parking.

Phase 1A or 2 would be the building out of the athletic fields. Depending on the needs of the school district and the local youth sports organizations as well as their time table(s), and the possible availability of grant money/financing, the building of fields may also go in stages. Alternatively if the need(s) is much more acute, i.e. for the school district, or for some of the other local youth sport organizations, then it could potentially be that the fields are built even prior to the medical facility being designed, put out to bid, financed, and eventually built.

Phase 3 would be the indoor athletic facility. Certainly any of these phases could potentially be modified, changed or could potentially be going on at the same time or could potentially be started or stopped but the medical facility is the #1 absolute primary need for Victory Sports Medicine & Orthopedics at this point in time.

Phase 4 would be the addition of low environmental impact nature trails throughout the property and the wetlands areas. These would benefit both the athletic and non-athletic population of the local and regional community.
